What a sad way to start the week.
Yeah, this makes me sad. I remember being a kid and my mom got HBO for the house, and there were always George Carlin specials on. They were really raunchy and outside-of-the-box and almost shocking. I still remember the one about stuff. You know, wherein Carlin says life is basically just moving ever-smaller piles of stuff around from one place to another.
I have to say though, for a guy who lived as hard as he did that 71 isn’t so bad. Is it? And I was kind of almost heartbroken that his latest HBO special just wasn’t that funny. I was really hoping it would be. I wanted him to be funny forever. And I was disappointed that he wasn’t.
