Ginia Bellafante, West Coast Fashionista Takes On Manhattan, Manolos in Tow
This description of how New York is depicted in the new MTV reality show the City actually made me laugh. It’s from a NY Times review trashing the program, which I’ve never even seen. But I feel like I don’t need to. I can just imagine the awfulness of it, and I don’t want any part of it.
I hate reality TV in principle. The only ones I’ve ever watched were the Real World back when it first started out (they lost me during season two, when they added the guy with the cowboy hat to the cast) and Survivor, which I also watched during the first season every once in a while because it was on right before the Sopranos (albeit on a different channel).
But well done, Ms. Bellafante, well done.
